On October 1st, Dr. Md. Abdul Karim was appointed a Visiting Researcher (Visiting Professor) at the Graduate School of Agriculture and met with Dean Murakami for a contract signing meeting.
Dr. Karim is a Professor at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University in Bangladesh and will be conducting a joint research titled “Mitigation of salinity stress in soybean production in the tropics” with Prof. Eiji Nawata in Lab. of Tropical Agriculture, Division of Environmental Science and Technology. He will be staying at the Graduate School of Agriculture from October 1st, 2019 to December 31st, 2019.
