With the goal of promoting international exchange within the Faculty and Graduate School of Agriculture, the International Exchange Section Office offers support to international students and foreign research scholars, and handles the arrangements necessary to invite visiting professors. The International Exchange Section Office holds an informational orientation for entering international students, followed by a welcome party. It also sponsors various activities, such as one-day bus trips, Japanese language classes, a soccer and barbecue party, in the interests of encouraging interaction not only among international students and scholars, but with Japanese students and scholars as well. Events and activities sponsored by the International Exchange Section Office are announced in its biannual newsletter. Please note that this office does not deal with research or curricular matters. Academic inquiries should be directed to the Student Affairs Office, Faculty of Agriculture and Graduate School of Agriculture.
